Why should I come to Smyrna Nazarene instead of another church?
There are many great Christian churches around. Most of them would be excellent choices to worship at and belong with. We can only tell you that we are now reshaping most of the things about Smyrna Nazarene. When we are done, it is our goal to be a multi-cultural (still) group of Christ-Followers that serve each other and the Smyrna community. There are many places to plug in right now and be involved. Our goal is to help people be a part of a movement, with a mission, not an institution.
Will people love me at Smyrna Nazarene?
Loving the people that God has created is our mission. We want to reflect the love that Jesus has for us to everyone around us.
What should I wear to church at Smyrna Nazarene?
We don't have a dress code or specific expectations, just dress like you normally would. We care about you, not your wardrobe!
What time is service?
Our services are designed to help all of us who come grow in our faith and be more like Jesus when we leave, than when we arrived.
We offer a traditional worship service on Sunday morning at 10:30 am. We will have a Wednesday morning Bible Study at 10:30 am and Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting at 7:00 pm.
What are the office hours for Smyrna Church of the Nazarene?
Our office is open Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, other times by appointment.
What kind of music is played during services at Smyrna Church of the Nazarene?
We have a variety of music styles, mostly traditional hymns and choruses.
